Demo

It's demo time! We have put a ton of work in over the last week to bring you the first two parts of the story mode as a demo!

Anita has been an enthusiast typist ever since she received her first IBM Selectric back it ’67. Now that she has retired, she worked with her grandson to help bring her teaching technique to anyone willing to learn. Enroll in her course to and watch your stats improve! She sends you progress reports along the way so you can see your improvement in real-time.  As you progress through the story, at the end of each in-game day, all of your successfully completed quotes will be unlocked for endless play in the Freeplay game mode. At the end of each in-game week you will also unlock bonus quotes at that level.

New Colors

We added a new color theme for typing, so check that out the settings menu to see which one you prefer! We will shortly be adding a custom system which will allow you to pick your own colors for the base text color, and the correct/incorrect syntax highlighting, in order to customize it to what you most prefer! We want our game to be playable by anyone, regardless of their particular vision.

Menu Redesign

The menu felt a little bare in some areas, so we spent some time this week updating some colors, adding some new options and shuffling some settings into tabs that better suit them! We feel like this has added a little more to the cozy atmosphere of the game, as well as giving you CozyTypers some more options and flexibility in your play! We hope you enjoy the new look and feel.

New Art

We felt like something was still missing, so we added a cute coffee mug, complete with it's own little animation, to breathe a little more life into the scene! We also updated some of the older art assets that were lacking a little detail. There will definitely be more to come in the art department, so keep an eye out for the release build to see the end result! 

Some of the time allocated to art this week was also spent finishing up the touches to some of the Steam asset artwork, which you'll soon be able to see in the shiny new Steam Store page! We are excited to be nearing our first game release, and hope that we can communicate our passion for making games by making them well!
