About the Game

Hello, and thank you for visiting our game! This is our first game (outside of tiny projects and game jams), and the first game we are developing publicly! We are very excited to get feedback throughout the game's entire development so we can improve and make sure we're always moving in the right direction!

Saving and loading is currently disabled in the WebGL build, but is working on all other platforms (yes, you too, linux!*).

If you are having trouble loading the game, try downloading the version for your operating system!

Typing games like this are cute and somewhat fun, but any that don't include an option for double spaces after any period destroy me utterly.  It's too much of an ingrained habit and I'm not willing to unlearn it for the sake of a game and then mess up when actually writing things again.

Not really my thing, but it is cozy and cute

Very cozy, indeed!

Is there any way to include other languages, like French, Portuguese and Russian? Also, maybe a folder where we can add our own quotes. I did not find where they are stored, but I did not try to manually open all the assets files. Maybe just shipping intructions on how to add to them, if it makes it easier for you.

I'd also like to point out that some people like to do everything via keyboard. While point-and-click games are not viable to do so, keyboard-centered games can, and perhaps should, make it easy to navigate via keyboard.

Is there a way to add tab selection, and alternative ways to control via keyboard? Like space/enter to select a button, up and down arrows, 123, alt+underlined_char, etc. Usually having two or three ways to navigate using keys is the best approach.

Congratulations on your work.

Once a full release comes, I'll sure spread this game among my friends.

Thanks!

Thank you so much for your feedback!

We are on the same page about keyboard navigation, and think it is an excellent idea and its in the cards to be completed!

As for custom quotes, we are working on a plan to make that work! We both still have great deal to learn and are hoping to find a way that work with our current DB solution so we don't have to redo all of it (again :P).

As for localization, that is something we would love to do as soon as we can afford it! We are 2 people working with no budget, and would want to make sure we were paying for quality translations! We're am also not entirely sure if the parsing method we built would handle accented / non-Latin characters, but we are really interested to find out!

All the best!

It's a really good typing game, typing feels responsive and fun in same time, the quotes are well chosen, while the surrounding gives a cozy vibe.

One of a few worth typing game out there. It's hard to find good typing game, or a game that utilised our keyboard instead of mouse, and this game is one of them. Still need to be polished here and there, but definitely worth to try for now :)
